Authoring Mode

Authoring mode is triggered by XXX.

XXXXX Check the App.VendorBuild flag throughout the program to see if in Authoring mode.

A consequence of authoring mode is that several additional menu items appear on various main menus as well as the contextual menu in docWindow.

Template Creation

To author a template you have to create at least one ADTemplateCentreObject which defines the centre and clipping region of a printable section of a label.

An ADTemplateHoleObject is used to punch a hole through the mask of this clipping region. Other shapes are drawn in black in the template layer to compose the mask.
